With trusted producer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0780098\/\">Ronnie Screwvala<\/a> backing him up. Note that Screwwalla started his producing career with TV, producing popular Hindi serials but has now progressed to some of the best Hindi films. <a href=\"http:\/\/hindimoviereviews.blogspot.com\/2005\/03\/review-swades.html\">Swades<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/hindimoviereviews.blogspot.com\/2008\/02\/review-jodhaa-akbar.html\">Jodha-Akbar<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/hindimoviereviews.blogspot.com\/2006\/01\/review-rang-de-basanti.html\">Rang de basanti<\/a> are some of his productions. So naturally I am enthused (aren\u2019t you ?) &#8211; a great director, a good producer, some very good music, AND Priyanka Chopra in 12 different roles &#8211; all the (Rashee ?) signs tell me that this film\u2019s going to be fun. <\/p>\n<p>Based on a Gujarati novel \u201cKimball Ravenswood\u201d (not available on Amazon) by playwright Madhu Rye, \u201cWhat\u2019s Your Rashee\u201d is the story of Yogesh Patel, a romantic lad, who must forego the love marriage route, when he is told to find a bride in 10 days to save his family from \u201cutter ruin\u201d. Lest you worry for him, note that he\u2019s got it all planned : he\u2019ll meet 12 girls of each Rashi (Zodiac sign), 2 every day \u2013 that\u2019s 6 days. Then he\u2019ll give himself 3 days to think it over, and the 10th day will be D-day.<\/p>\n<p>My instincts want to give Yogesh a swift kick in the back-side, and natural cynicism raises it\u2019s head here \u2013 what if the girl doesn\u2019t want to marry him ? I\u2019m betting that Yogesh <i>bhai<\/i> didn\u2019t think of that, hmm ? And 2 girls every day \u2013 all assembly-line-ish, what ? This being Bollywood \u2013 they\u2019ll probably all line up neatly for him, waiting to be <i>viewed<\/i> by their future Lord and Master. There\u2019s Anjali , Vishakha , Kajal , Hansa , Mallika , Pooja , Rajni , Nandini , Bhavna , Jhankhana , Sanjna , Chandrika, and what with her new found potential (<a href=\"http:\/\/hindimoviereviews.blogspot.com\/2009\/08\/review-kaminey.html\">Kaminey<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/hindimoviereviews.blogspot.com\/2008\/11\/review-fashion.html\">Fashion<\/a> etc.) I\u2019m looking forward to see her play them all. I\u2019m also looking forward to see Hurman Baweja come into his own this time, instead of trying to ape Hrithik Roshan.
